This is an early 20th century (c.1900) Edwardian mahogany bow fronted knee-hole writing table. The writing table stands on square tapered legs that terminate with 'spade' feet and are fitted with brass castors. The table has an arrangement of four drawers around a central knee-hole. The drawer fronts are decorated with boxwood line inlay and are fitted with their original brass knob handles. The drawer linings are constructed in oak throughout. The writing table is of excellent quality and is in very good condition with no damage. There is a little light ink staining to one drawer, commensurate with age and usage.
