This is an early 19th century (c.1800) Georgian mahogany chest of two short and three long drawers. The chest stands on shaped feet connected with an apron. The top of the chest has an attractive wide band of mahogany cross banding to both the front and side edges. The drawers are lined with the original blue lining paper and work well. The drawers are fitted with their original brass knob handles that have a tudor rose decorative motif to the centre. The chest is in very good clean condition throughout with no damage.
