This is an early 20th century Edwardian mahogany envelope card table (c1900). The table is standing on square tapered legs and decorated with boxwood line inlay. The legs terminate in china wheeled castors. The table is fitted with a useful drawer, intended for cards and gaming counters. The top swivels and opens to reveal the original green baize lined playing surface, together with four recesses for playing counters or coins. The table is in good clean condition, with a few very minor marks to polish, commensurate with age and usage.
Fully open top is 72 x 72 cm.
