This is an early 19th century (c.1830) rosewood needlework table from the William IV period. The table stands on a central pedestal, supported with our swept legs that terminate in brass wheeled castors. The table is fitted with a single drawer that is fitted with compartments for threads and cottons etc. The table is also fitted with a pull out knitting box of curved shape. The top is veneered in good quality rosewood with a decorative banding of burr yew wood. The table is in excellent condition throughout with no damage.
